Founded in October of 2009, Firebreathers Fitness LLC is the umbrella corporation that owns and operates CrossFit Fenway and CrossFit Somerville.

CrossFit Fenway has been in operation since December 2009. Originally located at 1345 Boylston St in Boston, FFLLC relocated the business to a space one block west to 100 Brookline Avenue in Boston, less than one block from Fenway Park. The current facility is over twice as large as the original location. In addition, CrossFit Fenway is proud to have qualified and sent a team to compete in the 2011 CrossFit Games World Championships.

CrossFit Somerville has been in operation since November 2011. Located in a stand-alone building in Somerville’s Union Square, it has already established a strong presence as a community center and nexus for connection amongst some of Somerville’s most active and engaged residents.

In addition, Firebreathers Fitness LLC is excited to be embarking on its first major commercial real estate development, launching the redevelopment of Union Square with a new construction building at 35 Prospect St in Somerville currently projected at over 24,000 square feet.
